Waveon BOM (Bill of Materials) Management Template Guide

BOM management template allows systematic BOM management by automatically calculating the possible production quantity based on the required material usage for each BOM version.

1. Registering BOM Versions

To calculate production capacity, you must first register BOM versions.

Click on the BOM Version Control tap.

Click plus (+) icon at the top right.

When the data entry popup appears, enter the version name and description, then save.

2. Registering Production Items

Register all items needed for product manufacturing, from sub components to finished products.

When the data entry popup appears, enter the necessary information and save.

  • Production Quantity: Leave this field blank as it is automatically calculated.

  • BOM Version: To calculate production capacity, be sure to select the appropriate version for the product.

3. Setting Up a BOM

Create a bill of materials for BOM management.

Click on the Item List tap.

Click Settings button for the item you want to create a BOM for.

When the data entry popup appears, select components, enter required quantity and version, then save.

Components can be selected from the registered production items.

If component is not in the dropdown list, register it in the Items List page first.

4. Updating Inventory Quantity

If there are any changes in material quantity, update the stock accordingly.

Click stock quantity of the item you want to update and enter the numbers.

Click refresh button to apply the changes.
